North Rhone Valley
Grandson of a local winegrower, Jean-Francois founded this small five-hectares Domaine in 2010 in Vion in the North of Tournon. He has just been joined by his son.
The steep, terraced vineyards need a lot of hard work, necessitating everything to be done by hand, as tractors and machines can’t get anywhere near. The view on the Rhone river valley from these granite stony hills is breath taking. Sun, stone and Rhône combine to produce ripe fruits with a lot of minerality, fragrance and freshness.
A small family producer passionate about his terroir and his native land, Jean-Francois ticks all the boxes to join Wine Story’s team.
