Médoc
Cruse Family
This is an extraordinary example how a "Petit Château" can produce outstanding wines!
Owned by the Cruse family since 1852, Château La Tour Cordouan still keeps all its promises. Situated high up the Left Bank, this Medoc property takes its La Tour Cordouan name from the lighthouse at mouth the Gironde Estuary.
Here, it is perfectly poised to benefit from the moderating climatic effects of its coastal position.
Médoc 2012 (37.5 cl) Half Médoc 2012 (150 cl) Magnum 50% Merlot, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. Ageing 6 months in French oak barrels The colour is deep and brilliant. The nose reveals beautiful red and black fruit aromas. On the palate, the wine is "gourmand" and slightly toasted on the finish. Thanks to this balance, it is a friendly wine that can be enjoyed young. |
