Bolgheri Rosso Superiore DOC 2004, Campo alla Sughera Arnione
Classed as a Bolgheri Rosso Superiore and made with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot grapes, it is an elegant, powerful character, as any wine made with this particular combination of grapes needs to be.
Another key factor is the barrels, which are carefully selected for the purity of their composition and unique balance of aromas and tannins, bringing us closer to our ultimate ideal of contained, carefully modelled power.
The colour is deep and brilliant. The nose reveals beautiful red and black fruit aromas. On the palate, the wine is "gourmand" and slightly toasted on the finish. Thanks to this balance, it is a friendly wine that can be enjoyed young.
This wine has a rich ruby intense colour, an attractive and complex scent of crushed undergrowth, spices and red berries. A voluminous palate with ripe fruits, well integrated oak and fine tannin. Delivery in wood cases. Has been selected by the Head Sommelier of Marcus Wareing, L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon.
Of amber colour. 42,7 % vol. Strong and subtle, scents of nutmeg, clove , cinnamon, vanilla and prunes that add to a remarkable length on the palate. The rancio Charentais taste is very present. The range of perfume tastes is united and nothing comes disturbing it while tasting
