Born in 1984 in Bonn, Benedikt grew up in his parents’ vineyard in Mayschoss on the Ahr, he went then to Marc and Frank Adeneuer from Weingut JJAdeneuer in Ahrweiler to learn more.
In addition to internships in Gols / Burgenland / Austria at Weingut Juris, in Badascony / Balaton /Hungary at Villa Juris, the winery Keth in Marloffstein / Rheinhessen / Germany and on Herdade de Calada in Evora / Alentejo / Portugal he trained as economist and later for staatl. He certified engineer for Viticulture and Enology in Bad Kreuznach in the Nahe.
His passion was influenced primarily by the love of Pinot Noir. With the historical documents and the precious old vines of the former estate of the city of Klingenberg, he fulfilled his dream in Klingenberg - a winery as a focal point for the fascination of Pinot Noir.
He restricts himself in the cellar for the preservation of the quality of the grapes (optimal ripening). Low yields, long maceration times, barrels from local oak trees, a long barrel maturation, and the avoidance of additives, such as yeasts and unfiltered bottling of wines
