This wine is made up of the 13 different grapes varieties of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The (on average) 100 year old vines and the very low yield (between 10 and 15 hectolitres per hectare) means that only 2000 bottles of this wine are produced for each vintage. It has a red ruby colour, scents of aromatic red fruit and black cherries and a ripe palate with a long after taste. Limited number of bottles available. This 1990 is in my top free best wine list, very delicate and velvety. Has been selected by the Head Sommelier of Helene d'Arroze
